Morningstar Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Links!

I've been reading a lot of Ted L. Nancy's books, and it's set off a fuse in my head and I've been loving life ever since. Inspired by Mr. Nancy, here's some lovely creative expression via the written word to yet another innocent company.

I was eating breakfast this morning with Lisa when all of a sudden I got the idea for this letter. I laughed and laughed and laughed and Lisa just sighed and asked, "Who's getting a letter now?"

I love her.

THE LETTER

Dear Morningstar,

Yesterday morning my fiancé made me breakfast, part of which was your Morningstar Breakfast Links. I must say that the taste was amazing, especially impressive to me, probably the world's greatest fan of meat.

After she took off for work and I was home alone (I don't work Saturday's like she occasionally does) I found myself nosing around the kitchen for something to eat during lunch. Since there was now an open box of your Morningstar Breakfast Links I figured, "What the hell?" and I threw a few of them into the microwave. Sure enough, even though your packaging clearly states they're "Breakfast Links", I just had to sit back in awe of these multi-meal links. They were able to satisfy at not one, but two meals in my day.

But I took it one step further than that. I had a nice dinner prepared for my fiancé when she came home and the 'meat' in her pasta wasn't meat at all. As a matter of fact, when she sat back and patted her tummy with satisfaction and asked, "How did you make this?" I burst into laughter and confessed that for DINNER she had more of your BREAKFAST links, and that earlier in the day for LUNCH I had even more of your BREAKFAST links.

I just wanted to thank you for making breakfast, lunch, and dinner so pleasing even if you only set out to fully compliment just one meal.

Thank you.

-Benjamin Smash

MY THOUGHTS

Ok, so, I read the response I got from Sandra from Kellogg, and even though it was very nice of her to respond so politely to my lunacy, it wasn't funny. So, as usual, if you want something done funny, you have to do it yourself.

I wrote back.
